Curatorial
I don't see art as an instrument for changing the world, but art as a tool for changing my own perception of the world by reconstructing my ways of thinking. The art that intrigues me most often contains a form of nonsense. That is, art that creates lines of thought beyond and resisting the bare conception of the world, a rational thinking produces. I'm looking for a pluralistic art which create confusion and ask more questions than provide answers in my curatorial practise. A key feature is to treat the audience as thinking, curious individuals. I emphasize not to interpret works or force them into a specific reading in both text and exhibition theme, rather opening them up for a diversity of angles to the viewer.

Uncertain Triolectics and A Very Short Introduction to Nothing 2012
Skånes Konstförening, Curated together with Hans Askheim.
Science and its logical tools have for a long time inspired contemporary art. In many ways the whole art world has become more and more like the academic world. This exhibition can be seen as antagonists to this trend. With the help of uncertainty, confusion and nonsense, these artists seek to break with the rational and logical examination of reality. These artists look directly at the blind spot, wondering over the things we don’t know. The exhibition was divided into two parts, based on each curators' selection.
Artist's: Sara Ramo (SP/BR), Mathias Kristersson (SW), João Pombeiro (PT), Iván Argote (CO/FR), Laure Provoust (FR/UK), Edwin Burdis (UK), Charlotte Young (UK), Cevdet Erek (TR)
UTAN TITEL (video) Skånes Konstförening 2011
The exhibition title: Untitled (video) indicates an exhibition with video works without a curatorial theme. The selection was purely based on my own fetish and love for these video works. The exhibition consisted of 30 video works by 18 artists, 12 projectors/monitors, a cinema, 4 artist talks. My idea was to see how different kinds of video work would crash with each others contrary expressions. Presenting artists from different art scenes gave the audience a unique opportunity to meet a wide range of contemporary video, thereby showing that 'contemporary art' is not a singular term.
Artist: Sonja Lillebæk Christensen(DK), Pilvi Takala (TR/SF), Jacob Taekker (DK), Eiríkur Örn Norðdahl (IC), Debbora Elgholm (SW), Alessandra Bergamaschi (IT/BR), Jan Hakon Erichsen (NO), Maria Lusitano (PT/UK), Morten Dysgaard (DK), Kaia Hugin (NO), Morgan Schagerberg (SW), Petter Ballo (NO/BR), Mette Hansen (SW), Cao Guimarães & O Grivo (BR), Henrik Lund Jørgensen (DK/SW), Shirin Sabahi (IR), Marit Lindberg (SW).
